Balaia Plaza


Balaia Plaza is situated in the tourist centre of Albufeira with a pretty beach a short stroll away and various bars, cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Public transport can be found just a few steps from the hotel. The comfortable apartments offer an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a kitchenette with a fridge, a hire safe and a separate lounge area, as well as a direct dial telephone and satellite/cable TV. The hotel itself provides guests with a foyer with a convenient 24 hour reception, lifts, a hire safe and there is also a small supermarket for any necessities. Guests can enjoy a coffee in the café, a refreshing drink in the bar or a delicious meal in the à la carte restaurant and the outdoor complex provides guests with an inviting freshwater pool, with a children's pool and pool bar, as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. There is also an indoor pool, with a sauna and a massage service available. For the more active guests, water aerobics, a gym, tennis, table tennis and snooker can be enjoyed and the nearest golf course lies about two kilometres away. An entertainment programme is also provided for guests’ amusement. Balaia Plaza is a great place to enjoy a holiday. What our customers sayI have just returned from a week at the Balaia Plaza and I must say I didn’t want to come home. We were a party of 7 with a wide age range of 71, 68, 33, 31, 16, 9, 8 and we all enjoyed the holiday the same. The apartment was very large and clean, it had everything you should need including microwave, fridge/freezer, TV, cutlery, ect. The beds are comfy, The balcony with table & chairs was nice for breakfast and an evening night cap, and the air con was a god send. There is a onsite supermarket that is very convenient if not a little expensive. The evening entertainment was basic but fun, the pool, and pool bar were both very nice and not too far to walk. The only down side was that the Algarve is very hilly so the walk to the beach or into the town is a bit of a trek, but this did not take away anything from a great holiday.
